I've been involved in starting a local rugby club here in Norway. Our local players had never so much as seen a ruby match on telly. They did well in training, but during the first match they dropped like flies.
The french ref actually said to one of our players "if you want to roll around, you cant do it here, we're playing rugby"
I'm big football fan (well a Pilgrims fan, this may not count as football per se), but sometimes its uncomfortably embaressing to watch. Its like watching an episode of 'The Office'. You know its quality stuff, yet its cringe worthy.
