Best place for curry on / near brick lane?

Tayyabs is fine if you feel like queuing for three quarters of an hour. Cliftons is the only place I go.

My flatmate went there for a curry and walked straight in..

granted, it was a curry for breakfast. i've yet to have the pleasure.

There are several Lahore's, run seemingly not all by the same people. there's one just off commerical road which does fantastic curry. although we did have difficulty working out which one of us had which when we got them home from their takeaway. the lamb starters are excellent.
