I can't afford another build for a while and spare bike bits are starting to pile up in my small place so I'm clearing out as much stuff as I can, hence part two. You go to a couple of Herne Hill jumbles, do a couple of impulse buys on ebay and suddenly you're stepping over bike paraphernalia in your bedroom.. anyway.. a few nice bits here, also hopefully some of it good for beaters/polo bikes/first builds. I'll be putting up a couple of frames some time over the weekend when I've got things sorted out.
Gebhardt 1/8" 44t & 48t brand new never ridden, still in packet** £20 each** 48T SOLD, 44T STILL AVAILABLE
Campagnolo Nuovo Record 3/32" 52T & 42T, used but teeth in very good condition - 52T has a scratch as shown in photo but otherwise in excellent shape.** NOW £15 THE PAIR**
Specialites TA track, 1/8" 50T, ridden very few miles and only on track, NOW £20
*Various things, kind of anti-clockwise from bottom left
Saturne sprint tub rims.. get yourself some cheap tubs on the go - NOS, 36h, dark grey, NOW £15 per pair! Two pairs available
Stronglight cranks, with chainrings and pedals. 170mm arms, something weird like 122 BCD. good prospect for a beater - these have had very very little use (unlikely to have got to three figures) and are in great condition. Extractor threads seem a little flimsy though so maybe take care with your extractor further down the line.. in any case, a good deal - **£20 for the lot. ** (first dibS tomd, second jazzythumper)
Emmelle (I think) brake levers with nice red bit - £5 the pair
Weinmann drilled brake levers - £5 SOLD
Benotto bar tape.. I got a bit carried away at a jumble a while ago and bought a good few rolls of this classic handlebar tape.. suffice to say I'll be pushed to own the required number of handlebars over the next few decades to do all of these justice, so I have a few NOS packs for sale. 1 packet has the tape to cover one set of bars plus bar ends. It's still gorgeous stuff.
Colours:** Dark Blue (several), Rose pink (a good few) then a couple of rolls of red/white/green and red/white/black** (as pictured). Ebay seems to be saying £10 for this these days, so I'll say** a fiver each **
Race Face Prodigy seatpost, black, 26.8mm, 200mm to insertion line. brand new never used, usually between £20 and 35, £15
Campagnolo Gran Sport seatpost, 1970s. 27.2 with 160mm to insertion line. Classic seatpost, maybe last of the old school Campagnolo. fair condition, visible insertion marks but with a bit of work it will polish up nicely. £18SOLD
I would prefer Londoners to get these just cos of the convenience of it - it would be meet up at a drinks or somewhere zone 1 with cash and collection for most things. Outside London will need paypal to pay and postage will be added on.. let's see how it goes. I'm trying to have a clearout, not set up a mail order business..
