2009-11-07 Sat - Espresso Ride

My proposal for the ride starts at Leather Lane for coffee, chocolate and doughnuts. Then we'll ride across the river to Southwark Market to Monmouth, then to soho for Flat White, then Brompton Road to Troubadour.

Monmouth Coffee shop - Monmouth Street!! I'm sorry, but I really don't see how you can justify going to Borough Market when the real, original shop is open Monday-Saturday, 8am–6.30pm at 27 Monmouth Street, London WC2H 9EU.

Additionally, it puts you in a similar part of town to....

Now, Turkish? You fancy Algerian on Old Compton?

ps, i am nothing to do with monmouth coffee shop, just remember going there over 25 years ago with my folks so they could get their coffee beans...

I could be well on for this, a little obsessed with coffee to say the least and its a good reason to get outta bed on a Saturday!

Funny... I only drink coffee before (espresso or 3) and after (large flat white or 2) cycling.... I have 20+ different types of tea at home ... but no coffee. I REALLY wish I could come on the Espresso ride... but I will ride to a few coffee shops on the day and join you all in spirit :)
