These kids might have enough food and warm houses but when they're raised by third generation dolescum in council estates where the kids carry shanks and father figures are absent and the only way to get respect is to take it from someone else, then that's a recipe for the kind of shit you see right here.

The only difference is that these kids are no longer fucking each other up, and instead have realised that these little hipster art fag kids who've moved into their area in the last two or three years because it's so 'urban' are a much better target. No offense to anyone in this thread but if you parade around a £2000 neon fixed bike to a kid who can't even get a job because of his accent, then expect there to be some conflict. Maybe where most of you grew up you can expect to keep your shit just through some kind of mutual respect. For the kids who grew up in dalston the vast majority of them have to fight for anythign they have.

I understand where these kids come from. And don't get me wrong, if one of them tries to take my shit then I'm going to try to diffuse the situation and if it doesn't work I will dismantle them. But no way am I going to sit here and let someone say that these kids have never had it better than anyone in history, when in reality they have no power, no money, and they're constantly fed images of excessive consumption which they can't be a part of.
