seen that frame on here before. reckon that's allright lockup strategy for just one d-lock?
-

its not that great considering it doesn't look like that substantial a lock, and they can always steal the rear wheel which will inevitably cost more to replace.

sure you can get a better lock, but for what was at hand it ain't that bad. messier stealing a rear wheel too so less likely?
I dunno, I'm just making conversation

I always go for frame plus rear, if I only have one lock with me. It's worth more, so a no brainer really. I can't imagine a bit of chain oil putting off a wheel thief.

Considering they only have one lock that is the best way they could have locked it. I always do front and frame if I have the one lock, as the front would be a lot less hassle for a thief to pinch.

hardly a lot less, undo track nuts, slide wheel forwards, off with chain, off you go vs. undo track nuts. an extra few seconds for more money.

Quite cool still.
Quick release, off front wheel, put beside back wheel. Lock up all 3 with one lock. Success. Two types of locks would be better obviously.
Taking off a wheel don't take what, 10 seconds? So can't understand why people take the risk?
Good photo opp and good lockup strategy...
