That Sheldon page you linked has a list which you should work thru in order. You won't get anything more helpful than that on here.
There are no quick solutions.
Also just a thought but have you tried searching... I seem to remember someone once asking a similar question on here before... but it might just be my imagination.... still could be worth a shot... you never know, I often search this sight and find all sorts of helpful ans.

My friend had a stuck post recently, tried everything on Sheldon to remove it but nothing worked. Eventually gave it to a guy that works in an aircraft bearings factory, they froze the post heated the frame slightly and used some massive industrial extractor to get it out.
Total last resort, that one... -

Is it aluminium? And the frame steel?
use caustic soda solution
if you can fill the seat-tube with a solution of it, and seal the top somehow (blu-tac?) so that the seatpost is completely submerged, within about 4 days the seatpost will have completely dissolved. Do it in a well-ventilated area and keep away from naked flames, as it gives off a great deal of hydrogen.
The good news is that you can dispose of the solution by pouring it down the sink. Caustic soda is sold as a drain unblocker. -

Hugo's right, Tradesize.
I'd abaondon this thread and head over to:

or

I think you'll prob find all the guidance you're gonna get there. Like you, I got impatient and I've just been putting off the caustic soda option for the last few weeks.

Deja vu?

ive heard good old fashioned coca cola round the seat post will unstick pretty much anything. might take the paint job off too though! dangerous stuff. not quite as bad as caustic though, you can keep it indoors at least while it does its job.

I remember someone having a similar problem.
Took it to some place where they heated the tube or something.
You'll need a repaint though around that area. -

Heat it man, b******s your paint job but it loosens the sucker!!
ok,
I just bought this
http://bristol.gumtree.com/bristol/94/47737594.html
off a really nice polish dude, anyways i took it home, seat too high by far, but stuck so took off seat and smacked the seat mount with a lump hammer with the bike upside down, after applying WD40 to to the post, the seatpost didn't move at all, the mount just come off of the post. Now I've read sheldon:
http://sheldonbrown.com/stuck-seatposts.html
I shouldn't have done this , how do I get the post out now other than 20 hours with a hacksaw blade that risks damageing the frame? doh doh doh and double doh
thanks
