Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Camberwell on Monday 12 October.
Police were called at approx. 08:50hrs to reports of a collision between a skip lorry and a female pedestrian in Camberwell Road, Camberwell
Local officers attended and London Ambulance Service took the woman to hospital Kings College Hospital.
She later died just before 14:00hrs.
Next of kin have been informed.
She was Risikat Ajoke Balogun, 23 (14/2/86) from SE5.
The driver of the lorry, a man aged 30, stopped at the scene.
He was arrested in connection with the collision and taken to a south London police station.
He was later bailed to return on a date in early December pending further enquiries.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) at Catford Traffic Garage are leading enquiries.
