this a solution to a tnrc dilemma,
waste a set of batteries with a few hours or so left in them, or
hold up the whole group switching them out mid ride, peering into the tiny plastic holder trying to suss out the polarity...but someone should invent a light you can change faster then that...

Dear BMMF,
may I ask what you did with the above-mentioned prongs for a battery pad? If that's not completely clear, I mean the little extensions around the contact points that are designed to clip into a connecting element. Did you lop them off or leave them?

Dear Superprecise,
I left them on. It works fine. But you do need to stick a little square of bar tape or something on the other end to get a snug fit.
