Cheers folks. It was pretty funny seeing the crank hanging off my shoe at the bottom of the little hill. Thank you all for the concern.
@Murtle. I was thinking similar thoughts, but thought that they would be a standard length. I will compare with my others.
@dogs. I will need to take a closer look, but from the pics part of the shear looks discoloured.
Yeah, the warranty will cover it (hopefully). The fit and forget moniker applies to me buying, fitting and forgetting who I got them from. Will need to go through my records.
I will still have to wait for a bit for replacements and need a stop gap and I need to get the bike on the road ASAP.
