rode past police tape to the be told by the pcso that she's not really alright: "see that tipper lorry..?" made a detour to avoid seeing too much, then spoke to the Schmidt on other side who said it was a "car accident"; 1stly there was no car involved, only a cyclist & hgv; 2ndly it is no accident since this is a very predictable occurrence. family & friends placed flowers on the railings on southeast side of the junction a day or 2 later.. then the witness appeal board: "08:45".

heard about this but reports said it was a pedestrian....

Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Camberwell on Monday 12 October.
Police were called at approx. 08:50hrs to reports of a collision between a skip lorry and a female pedestrian in Camberwell Road, Camberwell
Local officers attended and London Ambulance Service took the woman to hospital Kings College Hospital.
She later died just before 14:00hrs.
Next of kin have been informed.
She was Risikat Ajoke Balogun, 23 (14/2/86) from SE5.
The driver of the lorry, a man aged 30, stopped at the scene.
He was arrested in connection with the collision and taken to a south London police station.
He was later bailed to return on a date in early December pending further enquiries.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) at Catford Traffic Garage are leading enquiries.
