  • I've been sorting through some of my bikes and frames came across this Pinarello that i'm thinking of selling on.
Its a Pinarello Triviso with internal cable routing, paint and chrome is in good condition only the Pinarello decals are a little cracked. Size 52cm.
any ideas of a rough guide price??

  • were you riding this built up geared around covent garden a few days ago?

  • Don't know about a guide price but you certainly won't be getting pennies for it.

    Nice frame.

  • I'll give you a fiver

  • I'll give you a fiver

oh come on!!??!?? don't be tight.....

    i'l give you £6

being serious i think its worth quite a bit, don't really know much, but reckon £100+

  • No it's worth a fiver

  • Its a fake, cheap Chinese copy.

Oh ok... then i take back my offer of £6,
    £5.01 it is then.

  • 501 Its not a fucking pair of jeans

it's worth a cunting fiver (havin risen from a simple plain fiver)

  • Half a dinari

You make it sound as if you have a couple of hundred. :)

    Nice frame in good condition.

  • is that 52 c to t? Looks a bit smaller than 52 c2c?

Anyway I ride a similar 'Vuelta'. Fast eddy was looking for 400+ for his http://www.londonfgss.com/thread15652.html

Think that's optimistic, but £250 ish sounds about right?

Anyway if you want to sell it for less than £200 (why?) give me a pm!

  • By the way, are those the original forks? All similar ones i have seen from the period seem to have the pinarello logo or words stamps near the crown. From the pix it didn't seem so in this case?

  • thanks for the feedback gents think this might be going up in the classifieds in the not too distant future, depending on when i can bring it over with me back home.

@ wmialil: wasn't me in covent garden i havnt ever built this one up and its sat in my place in Amsterdam, so just a cheap imitation

@ oliver: sadly not quite 100's just yet although the misses would have you believe otherwise

@ Kam: there are no markings on the forks so you may be right on the fork front. 400 sounds like wishful thinking but would be nice. drop me a PM if you want to buy it for more than 200 ;)

  • hey man,

can you give me full measurements? Thing is I ride 52 c2c and 54top tube. IS this actually a bit smaller (I ask because my one is giving me back pain!). Mind measuring it up for me?

  • To spoil this party - I paid around £250 for the Treviso with original Campy headset and Campy Record bottom bracket. There's not stamp on the forks either, but there's one on the BB shell and dropouts.
What tubing is this one made of? Columbus SLX? Mine is cheaper Columbus Matrix (Cro-Mo)

  • Nice.
I cant see it being a 52 though, unless you mean top tube length. The head tube looks smaller than my 51.

Man thats beautiful. Love the bubble wrap tape too ;)

  • That's why I got it - no rust, dents, scratches on the tubes or pitting on the forks and chainstay. Pity I missed the groupset. The above example looks bit tired - at least it doesn't have any special paint job, so it can be resprayed. Head bagde is a sticker :-/

  • i reckon about 250...at a guess

  • east end images - yours looks very nice. It's an earlier model i suspect as it doesn't have internal cable routing.

Here's some pix of my one http://retrodicorsa.cc/Retro_di_Corsa/bikes/Pages/Kams_Pinarello.html

The tubing is Columbus EL (extra light) and it's lovely. BUT my back i aching like a mutha hence the interest in the smaller frame

  • I'll check the measurements tonight when i get in and post them up for you. in all honesty i was being a fuking tard the other night and just measured the top tube so will get on it when i get in.

so do we reckon i can aim for some middle ground between 300-250?? i'm coming back to the UK this weekend so might bring it back with me if anyone is that keen......

  • Nice one, Kam. Not over the top or anything - great road bike.

  • Cheers East End, very nice words :-) It's now got deep V's and a Corima front, pink and green all over - nah only kidding!

    That would be £275 then?!

Too rich for my blood, good luck with it though...
