  • so.... sheds

  • I really want a shed.

Where would it go?? On the balcony? :)

    You should get an allotment..

  • My grandad had a shed with in a shed. Now that is pimpin'.

    Yo dawg...

  • All your tools are belong to us.

  • Where would it go?? On the balcony? :)

    You should get an allotment..

The roof is flat- scene of many happy barbecue's.

I have toyed with the idea of putting down what would amount to a damp proof course and then soil, but the thought of getting all that soil/compost up to the fifth floor is rather worrying.

I could then have grass, vegetables and a shed though, which would be great.

  • that sounds amazing. You just need to get a pool and a pitch and putt course to complete the picture...

  • I wouldn't put a torque wrench in a shed as the mechanism might suffer from damp (unless it's a one of those with just a pointer arm). Other tools could be sprayed with WD40 or CSP fluid which would protect them indefinitely.

  • Yo dawg...

    My thoughts exactly!

  • New shed on the way.

  • Try Lock N Lock boxes from Staples ;o)

  • Andy, how's the shed coming on?!

  • am i the only one here that stores their tools in their bedroom?? :p

  • Andy, how's the shed coming on?!

Not too bad. It is currently in bits split between the utility room and the small shed (2 shed family) having undergone two coats of weatherproofing. It will receive a third coat this evening and hopefully if its dry on Friday it shall be erected.

    Will post pics on completion.

  • Nice formwork!

  • am i the only one here that stores their tools in their bedroom?? :p

    no

  • Nice formwork!

    Thanks.

  • Shed watch.

Now that the rain has finally stopped I thought I would start on the building of said shed. The strong winds have stopped me in my tracks.

    Annoyed.

  • Thanks for the update

  • Finished.

    Pics tomorrow.
    When I have thawed out.

  • Its a bit on the small side.

  • I'm from Lilliput.

  • I need some better bikes.

  • Very nice work, Andy. Now you go and take it apart, build a boat from the boards, and float it down the Rhine (or paddle to the mainland), then turn it back into a shed.

  • We are the mainland. I also have a boat.
