Dear Harriet Harman,

as a passionate cyclist in London I was shocked by the recent accident involving a left turning lorry on Peckham High Street.
This is one of a series of accidents involving lorries and women, with many of them being fatal.
Cycling is the best way to get around London, but it must be safer for us, especially for people that are easily intimidated by traffic like my girlfriend.

In order to address these problems, I'd like to ask you to sign this early day motion concerning the closure of the CVEU by our mayor, which is a step in the wrong direction:
