first gig was run dmc at the hammersmith apollo in 87, I think Dad drove me there, followed closely a year later by Public Enemy at the Brixton Academy, which I walked to cause it was ten mins from my house..

i stepped on the stage,
at live aid,
all the people paid,
and applause they gave.
and out those speakers I did speak
i wore my sneakers but i'm not a sneak...
