Is it a runner? Or in the kind of condition that will necessitate a shed load of cash being needed? I spend enough already!
Are you a local gooner? I live just off Gillespie rd. Could meet this weekend?

hijacked! Any chance I could have that first dibs as you posted it on the thread I started, looking for a beater?! Thanks a lot for posting both bikes though, the Raleigh 10 speed would be my first choice if its still available!

Im in the process of sorting out about 12 road bikes from the 70's/80's in various states of repair. Some ready to ride and some not just need a brake cable or puncture repair etc. Let me know what size your after and i will see if there is anything suitable if you aint already got sorted that is.

HenryWood - IMG_0006, blue beater.
il take the bars, or where can i find some for myself?
-

thanks dude. i got some standard bars but they are so high!!
A friend who just moved to london would like to start cycling again. Anyone have a beater that with little to no work being done can be used for an everyday london commute? Based in NW6.
price range £80-£120, not fixed but SS or old ten speed would do nicely!
Thanks,
D
