S24O's = Sub-24 overnights. its a Grant Peterson (Rivendell) concept for those short of time to do "proper touring". Basically, ride out to city limits/green space, camp and back for breakfast - excellent fun!

My super C's are an older type but are plenty roomy and the clasps are excellent, re-treated with wax and good as new. l think the current model might be slightly larger but not much.
Yes, larger tyres for rough stuff+weight. luggage weight is dead weight which is what does the damage on wheels.
