Those seat post racks are shit. They are heavy, sway with any weight and too high (which is worse handling), just follow someone with one for a bit, and that's on smooth tarmac.... If you don't want panniers James either get a carradice saddle bag or normal rack and strap a waterproof stuff sack rolled up in a bit of karrmatt to protect it from chaffing to the top. Cheaper too, 25 l staff sack + bit of old Karrimatt, less than a tenner, gives you more money to spen don a good rack Old man Mountain and tubus (you can drill it out for bolt on hubs) make rack for bike without the attachment points.
