Maybe not the type you're looking for, but personally I like it.
And it's within the budget.
This one is for EUR 15.- and in some occasions you can pick it up for free.http://link.marktplaats.nl/288301908
The other type, where you bike (rear wheel) goes in, will cost more, but may just fit in your budget.
Used, they go easily over GBP 100.-This one seems to go quite cheap:

You wont get new rollers for 50 - 80. CRC and some other places have Tacx rollers for £125

I have these and can recommend them. They are pretty basic but seem well made and are easy to store/set-up/store etc. You can also upgrade them later with a resistance unit for a more varied training

and together with a front support they would work more like a turbo trainer.

The ones shown by Smallfurry are more or less the same, just newer design. Don't think that these are a lot better. Perhaps a bit more silent and easier to "fold" or make compact.
I just wanted to show that you can get older ones (but still very usable) for almost nothing. That's the case in NL, but I guess in UK it's not very different.
Why?
Many people don't take time to learn to ride without supports / holders. Then they take the othjer type that holds the rear wheel. The old rollers are redundant.
The plain rollers do not give a lot of resistance and are a bit limited in training possibilities.
The second type offers more options to adjust resistance / training modes. Even connection to video or PC (the expensive ones).
It depends what you want.
For me, just a bit of spinning without too much resistance is enough for warming up / cooling down. I'm not going to do full training sessions on rollers.
Besides that, I like the fct that you have to stay concentrated to stay on the rollers. Pretty much the same as riding in real. -

I have this set of rollers for sale for £50 posted. I am not sure what make they are and they need a belt that costs about a fiver but they run really smooth.
