Hi Vicky,
Im a member and have just requested an invite code. Never done it before so lets see what happens.
-
• #3
I'd love one too if you can sort me out - planning a trip and I'd like to get up to date on the scene

Its just got some dialogue box that says "Beg for more invite codes here" which is presumably submitted to admin. Dont know what happens after that.
Might start a quick thread asking what the best OTP is. I can report back so we will know for certain.

i think williamsburg might be a good bet. my fixie friend lives there and it sounds like there is a good scene going. will check with him for any details but the forum is probably a good place to start if you can get in.

Hi I'm off to NYC at the end of next month and really want to find out what they're up to - if you get any invite codes please can you pass on on to me?
I'm only there for a week but want to hire/ borrow a bike and explore!

I've been granted one invite code which you're more than welcome to. Can you PM me your name and email address... it says the name is mandatory so I guess they want a full name??

I am currently in New York and looking to rent a road bike for the weekend. The only rental place I can find is this:
http://www.bikeandroll.com/newyork/index.html#
Anyone have any better suggestions?

Clive, I picked up one a while ago from http://eddiesbicycles.net/ not the greatest selection when I was there but it sure is cheap.

Clive, look up gotham bikes (oddly, their webiste is www.togabikes.com ), they have three shops on Manhattan. I went into one this summer and hired a bike for the day. The guy was really nice. I seem to recall that they had road bikes for hire as well as fixed and hybrid. Give them a bell to check the deal.
i moved to NY but haven't met any Fixed cyclist yet
anyone know a good place to meet riders
or how to get onto the NY Fixed Gear Forums? (Invitation code)
thx
