Was the Kryptoflex cable cut? Front wheel not locked to anything? Struggling to decode what happened from the picture cos it looks like a bike locked to lock thats locked to another bike and a cable just hanging in the air.
Where was this? If in East London someone will be along to give you stress for locking strategy shortly.

It could have been more secure. Dlocked frame to the post there, and the shitty cable through the back wheel. Couldn't care less about the front one really. So they chopped through the cable and unscrewed the back wheel. East Oxford I'm afraid.

if you look at the large version you can see a bit better perhaps: Flickr Photo Download: IMG_2024 - Wheels stolen
it looks very much like the cable closest to the camera has been cut.
sorry to hear about this!

Wheels were stolen of my girlfriend's bike last night - distinctive as she'd just put the monkeylights back on for winter (one on each wheel). Red Vittoria tyres on black Alex rims, flipflop rear, screw front, off a Giant Bowery - If anyone sees them...

Check out the classified area here, there are some wankers who will think it funny to put up a for sale add.
Seriously, gumtree and brick lane.
My wheels were stolen from outside my flat in broaddaylight. I'm sulking about it now. I'm trying to see a bright side, but it was all setup and working just how I liked it.
I don't want to buy stolen parts but the amount of stuff that gets nicked, I can barely believe much on ebay hasn't been stolen at some point. Nice of them to leave the saddle and the frame though wasn't it?:
