don't normally like NB trainers but those are sweet.

Are there any good waterproof/resistant kicks to ride in? I love riding in NB 574s but the uppers are so permeable as to get soaked through each time it rains and spend a week above the radiator. I've got two pairs on rotation but I want something better.

Also, does anyone have hookups in Berlin for when the new 'Berlin Wall' pack drops? I NEED the black/white ones.

If you like moonboots, Nike did a pair of AF1 highs in GoreTex. Great looking shoe (which is saying something as i reckon AF1's look crap 98% of the time) but probably not so good for riding in !
They did have some Half Cabs in at Vans on Carnaby Street that were made of some kind of pleather/leather/rubber that looked liked they might have been a bit more resisitant than the suede ones.

AM1 are my all time fav. those are puppy killers.... actually, they´ve killed the whole jungle for that : (

what do people reckon - brown or black?

they're £105, which i'm struggling a bit to shell out for a pair of vans.. anyone have any other suggestions for a nice leather trainer?

spend your do re me there first. one of the few places to do fixed stuff too...had some highly respectable complete bikes in at the end of Sep, including one sick ass custom painted shop bike.

they have a dedicated nike sportswear section and a separate sneaker wall with really well chosen stuff. rest of the shop is true lifestyle...unique selection of clothing, books, design stuff.

patta has good sneaks and does some incredible collabs for the size of shop but is a bit pokey.

@ nuknow...AM1's back in iD in november and the options...if anything like what they have currently for AF1's, which are nuts.

does anyone ride in ZX? There's a goretex pair of tokio lo syn I've found but I've never had a pair before and I need to know if they'll slip in and out of clips and be as tight as my various NB 574s.

Also, do they come up loose or tight in sizing or anything?

Saw those AM1 ND in navy blue the other day, like them but not sure if I want them though.

know what you mean...my sentiments exactly. best at the mo is the parra's IMO. quite like so called 'Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch' - spring 2010 apparently when some nice new other 87 colors drop too.

Love those Parra's, do you know if they are Chinese or Thai made BTW?
