Finally some sanity. Well said plurabelle. I would add that the media love to bundle people together in easily identified groups, mainly it seems to pass judgement on them.
I'll stop playing devil's advocate now on healthcare too - everyone in the UK has a right to free healthcare, regardless of their personal circumstance or lifestyle. That's how it should be in my opinion.
