Fucking hell, the worst part is, i'm actually not surprised to hear this. The bit about doctors not being encouraged to tell people to be a healthy weight is amazing though. How about skinny people, how often are people criticized for being too thin, why is there never anything said about reducing that in the media? Why is it that calling someone fat is worse than calling someone skinny? It never made any sense to me.
Of course descriminating against any sort of person is wrong, however if you cannot perform a job adequately, it's hardly descrimination if you don't get it.
