dibs on seatpost if you split...
-
• #7
Unless that is an exceptionally long Supertype, you run the risk of destroying your frame with the post that high.

Yep it's been moved down, i never rode it like that, I just couldn't wait to take a picture when I had put all the bits on.,.
On Dutch Cheese's recommendation, I had the inside of the seat tube reamed to ensure that the seatpost could be inserted further into the frame

-
• #19
if splited, bids in the frame, please

the seat stays don't wishbone, they curve up and to vertical and then are almost fluted (not sure that's the right word..) into the seat tube..
Rik, that's cool - frame is dibsed for you if no-one takes the bike complete

The building is part of St Mary's uni - it's a halls of residence and there's another, similar building behind it:

For sale - curvy Conti Lo Pro with amazing paintjob
From what I can find online, Conti were made by the Ciocc factory and although there is no sticker on the frame, the previous owner though that it was probably Columbus tubing, as it was used in the majority of high-end Ciocc frames.
I'll put more pics up tonight - the stem and seatpost have both been moved down and the risers swapped out to Nittos with a much smaller rise
The paintjob is amazing pearlescent white with pink and gorgeous baby blue™ - haven't seen another bike like it, especially the darts on the top tube. Some chips to the paint from general use, but the overall effect is still stunning.
Some lovely touches - Conti panto'd on the BB shell and form crowns, a Conti C on the brake bridge and an Italian glag embossed onto the side of the TT
It's got vertical drops outs but has got a White Industries ENO rear hub so chain tension is full adjustable

BB centre to top of seat tube: 59cm
Top tube: 60cm
