Oh dear! well i was warned i wud put ur backs up with my comments. Sorry for anything deemed offensive. Its just even the geared guys come on here to chat and bit of bit of advice ...and poke a bit of light hearted fun. Obviously u take ur dickie uniforms quite seriously. big apols.
Take it on the chin. I think pajamas must be having a bad day.
STI levers were launched in 1990 btw, so I don't see why you shouldn't fit them to a 1992 frame should you want it to be period correct. Personally I think you should fit whatever you want to it, just ride it often like it deserves.

That commie trackframe looks just like an early DDR/ Karlmarxstadt Diamant (according to the lugs and trackends..)

Mavic Zapp was the first electronic gear changing system that was commercially available. You change gear on the rear mech by pressing various buttons on the handlebars, hence one shifter (for the front mech). It was fine until it rained apparently.

very nice geometry, lugs, fork and parts - some a bit plastic-y, what's that material? poor graphics though. maybe peeling the yellow bits off would help. nice decals or no decals.
