  • one thing that makes Rapha less pricey are promotional codes. Anyone know of any that might work at the moment, I need to feed my habit...

  • Except when it's taking the mick out of Apple fanboys ;)

have to say, those new 27" core i7 imacs look sweet

  • shorts: assos
    jerseys: rapha
    baselayers: rapha
    gilet: assos
    knee warmers : rapha
armwarmers: rapha or assos if you want thinner more stretchy ones
    caps: rapha
    jackets: rapha (lightweight windproof)
gloves: neither giro pittards leather ones

++ Don't get on with the Rapha armwarmers as I have spaghetti arms and they fall down. Also the wide chamois on Assos F1 Uno shorts can chafe the insides of your legs without judicious use of chamois cream (they're still better shorts than the Rapha ones...IMO)

  • Oh and if anyone wants a nice winter hat and doesnt want to pay £$€
    get a Sugoi one

Merino too. I have a rapha one as well, which is good, but the Sugoi seems a much nicer fit and more ear coverage.

  • sugoi stuff = ace.
'er indoors currently has the hatha hoodie.

  • Yeh Emilia had a really nice hoody with thumb holes on at the bake off, that what got me onto them.
Just ordered a nice winter merino jersey from them as well.

  • sbr haz them on discount i think....

  • Sugoi are great. I love their shorts. I mean my shorts.

  • We must be losing our touch. These have been released by Rapha for a few days now and no-one has pointed them, or the price, out;

  • thx andyp, now i know its friday, Fast Friday to be percise

These are not nice, as they're made of leather. But they're still a bit pricey. :)

  • I'm the 1000 wish lister. hahahaah

  • I found a Rapha cap this morning - Fri 14 Nov in Dalston, it's the 'Nocturne Series' black with pink diagonal stripe. Want it back?

  • I emailed Rapha and asked them to make me a Donkey Jacket... !! ha ha ha.

  • I'm the 1000 wish lister. hahahaah

    Really? didn't you win something?

  • For a Paul Smith, that's pretty cheap! usually they charge shitload for clothes that don't really held together very well, like their umbrella that known never to last a couple months after purchase.

  • Paul Smith garms are lovely, don't be talking shit Ed!

  • some of them are really, the clothing are fine, but everything else is pretty much poorly made.

  • some of them are really, the clothing are fine, but everything else is pretty much poorly made.

Were these any good, or just another example of Mr Smith's ability to label other peoples' goods?

  • those Paul Smith bikes are proper POC.

    Sorry Paul...

  • Just met Chopsicle (sp?) riding along Tower Bridge. He works for Rapha. He agreed, indeed, it's a tad expensive.

On another note you shoulda seen my steed next to his Columbus framed rapha'd Enigma...

  • Saw the non PS versions of those gloves in Condor. Look nice, feel nice on your hands, but a bit pricey.
