Wanted: Campagnolo Pista cranks

Posted on
  • Hey, I'm after some Campagnolo Pista cranks. Preferably 170 but 165 is fine. With or without chainring.

Same kinda thing as these: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread31334.html

    Can anybody help me out?

  • and how much would you like to spend on said cranks, in a 170mm length with a selection of Fyxomatosis chainrings?

  • Not really sure. Dependent on condition etc. I'll drop you a PM

  • got some 170s, pista lh, strada rh - only noticeable difference is strada written on the back.

    pm if you're interested.

  • Shameless bump - pretty desperate to get some of these before the end of next week.

  • Object has 165's I think.

  • My last plea for some of these. Looking to spend £100-£125.

  • I think that's probably what I'm going to end up having to do. I can't afford any of the pistas I've been offered so far. ↲↲Will stradas be useable straight off with just the one chainring or do I need to file them for them to work?

  • the strada's will work fine
chainline will be right either on the inside or outside they look fine installed as well

  • You don't have to file the inner tabs off to use them, only if you want to pretend that they are the pista version.
They do look a bit silly totally wrong with the ring mounted on the inside though (IMO), so you may need to swap out your BB for one with a longer spindle .

  • These are Stradas, most people can't tell the difference between them and pista cranks.

  • here are some strada's set up for fixie action it isn't even noticable
