A woman handed me a leaflet in the street yesterday about a meeting with Birmingham City Council this Thursday at 7:00pm about how to make cycling in Birmingham safer. I won't actually be going myself because I'm busy that day (and lazy) but for anyone who's interested more details here: http://www.pushbikes.org.uk/
I know one way the council could make cycling safer... when one of their employees crashes their car into the automated bollards outside the Council House leaving a massive oil slick they should clean it up straight away rather than waiting for me to slip on it and break my wrist... yes, I'm still bitter.
