screw driver a little of the way in spray, push it in a little more, spray all the way, then start moving your way around the grip in the same way. Wiggle spray, wiggle spray. Work quickly, apply spray liberally.

i just hold them under the tap to get water in them and just slide em on

what tom-tit said, plus some warm soapy water down there to loosen the spray.

i generally use hairspray to put on, and a screwdriver lubed up with washing up liquid to take off. don't use a screwdriver if you don't want scratched bars. could use wd40 with the thin extension thing, remember to wash out the grips afterwards.

Thanks guys!
Tommy, I'll try this and see if it works..I'm a bit scared of scratching up the bars so I'll try putting it into a condom or something similar..If not, then I'll try WD40 with the thin thing like velo said!

WD40 for offing not onning. Will never stop
slipping. Hot soapy water ftw. Use a plastic chopstick instead of screwdriver to avoid scratching. -

Use the lube that you use for your bum

So you do love something else besides pastries, with your experience in this an all..
I'll try WD40 for the offsie, if that doesn't work I'll give you a call, hope you didn't go and borrow it to your moms though, it'd be abit weird calling her about it..=)
Thanks offering though, appreciate it! -

Don't use a screwdriver! Just lift the edge slightly and get some aerosol deoderant or hairspray in there and twist the grips to get the liquid further down the grips.

If you can just dip them in a bole of really hot water, that makes rubber much mor flexible and you should be able to work them on or off.

Don't use wd40 as it will leave a residue, try using GT85 instead as it evaporates quickly.
i use hairspray liberally for fitting grips as it makes slipping on easy & adheres the grips in place once dried.

Dont use WD40 indeed. Water dries, wd40 doesn't. So your grips will slide of easily.

Had the same problem last week, soak them in boiling water for a bit then cover the bar in hairspray and rush em!

I rolled my champs grips off, turned them back the right way by rolling them back over a thin bar and used spray adhesive to get them back one my new bars.
So, I got my new bars and a pair of very nice black SOYO long grips today..
I've read about putting them on with hairspray before, and I figured that's a pretty good idea and helps them stay on as well..
Anyway, I got them 2/3 on, and apparently the hairspray dried already so now they're more or less stuck to the bars.. Any tips on how to take them off again?
Tried to hairspray but it's so tight that the spray doesn't get inbetween the bars and the grips..
