whilst no one likes to see someone die so young, I have to say that I saw Stephen Gately in Joseph, and he absolutely murdered the songs. Singing live with no electronic wizardry showed just how bad his singing was totally flat and tonless. I could have made a better job. He certainly only got the job because of who he was not for his singing talent as he had none.

The health risks of a homosexual lifestyle are massive and will shave 20 years off the life of someone with few underlying risks.
Another disturbing aspect of this whole affair has been the reaction of the hoi poloi who refer to him now being an "angel" in Heaven! What? Firstly, this shows that people don't know what angels are, and secondly, the idea of and the fear of mortal sin has vanished!
