I had that problem too recently when getting stuff together for my lady's bike. I went to the jumble at Ripley and there was quite a good selection there.
Velosolo have some NOS 3ttt ones for about £21 if that suits: http://www.velosolo.co.uk/shopbar.html

I thought they were normally 25.4 and 3ttt were usually 26.0?

I have a 110mm 3TTT stem from about 1980, I guess, and it's a 26.0 clamp. It's black, and branded Colnago on the side of the stem: PM me if you're interested in it.
(I thought Cinelli went to 26.4 in the early 80s, but I might well be wrong about that!)
For myself, I just bought a Nitto Pearl stem, and it's a peach! It was more than £40 though...
Hi all,
Why is it that its getting really difficult to find a used 26mm quill stem? there are loads of 25.4 on sale on here and ebay but hardly any 26mm ones...
The stem iv got on my bike the paint is almost coming off completely so want to get a new one but almost seems cheaper to change the bars as new nitto 26mm ones are around £40 whereas a used set of bars on here will be around £20...
Any specific reason why 26mm Quills are not being sold on like the 25.4 ones?
