you can just cut down the bolts you already have if you don't want them for anything else.

That seems a bit steep. I thought Royce titanium ones were £19 or so and BLB charged me around £5 for mine.

You can go to B&Q, buy some washers and use your old bolts.
I have a stronglight crank which currently has to two chain rings, if i just get thinner single speed bolts will this enable me to take off the on of the rings. If does I need a set : )
