The 3 speed hubs is fine on whatever bike frankly, in fact 3 speed fixed were popular in time trialling back in the golden age, it only feel unsuitable on a carbon fibre frame because Sturmey Archer is a name usually found on old town bike and Brompton.
Yes, the Brooks look a bit weird on it, but then it is a comfortable saddle.
