  • Greetings folks,
I have read the thread and there are some good points on here. Like a lot of things in life the answer is are not always a simple yes or no, neon / hipster, lights / high viz, one or the other answer.
The solution is a bit, or lot as the case may be, of both lights and high viz....
On the recent circle line ride I was rocking a fibre flare (which gets a mention on here) - they really do give out a lot of light for just 2 x AAA batteries. It got a few comments as it is a quality light... MA3K mentions the respro bands on this thread. I rode next to/ near him for a lot of the ride and his right ankle was very bright as a result. I have a few of these wrapped around my already reflective timbuk2 bag. Once again these are a good quality product. He also had a Claq on his grobag pouch thing – once again this is a great product – very bright and easy to attach.
In the dark days of winter it is all about being safe and seen. But just because you are all lit up it don’t be lolled in to a false sense of security, you must still take care...
As they used to say back in the day – be safe , be seen.
So something to reflect on - Ride safe people and keep up with the bright ideas....,
    Peace and Love,
    Tim

I remember seeing your Fibre Flare and thinking it was really good. I might invest in one.
