Google Wave

If you're waiting on an invite, this might make you feel better.

You're missing nothing. I totally haven't "got" Wave yet. When I do, I'm sure it will become indispensable. But I haven't. It's just IM. Slightly confusing IM, with embedded YouTube.

Meh.

I'm not sure it's that.

I think it's collaboration. Not small conversations that just go forward in time, but large conversations that need to go back and edit things... collaboration.

I think that is closer to what it is than anything.

Could be perfect for ride-organisation, event organisation, etc.

Not very good as an IM or forum replacement.
