Bike stolen in hackney(Nothing new there then eh)

hi cant find the stolen bikes thread and locked it in the college bike bay with an abus waist lock

Do you know how they got through you Abus? I have one but i'm tempted on getting a kryptonite D as well or instead of.

With the standard method, they are not all that difficult to get through. Once at east beers some kids got through one of these which was locking some other punters bikes to the railings by the park. Pyjamas shouted out and they scarpered. We inspected the damage and pretty quickly worked out what had happened, plenty of us were shocked - those locks look the part but in reality are shite.

Advice: Throw away the abus ball-o-fix lock and get a krypto fagh.
