no one here knows how to change the battery on a knog and no one here's ever had one last that long enough to worry about it. the worst cullprit is the frog on the right of pic 1. all the LED circuits are exposed..water gets in easy hence they get fucked. the same is true of the gekko.
the speedo and the toad in pic 2 are better as everything is encased...so mostly frogs and similar are disposable but others might well end up having the battery problem you're concerned about.
