A ski-pole shattering.... Ive never heared of that happeneing before.
[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycarbonate[/ame] ;) stuff is used for bullet-proof glass, it should last okay i suppose, probably not as durable as ABS though. seen pics of mallets made from it using rather think tubes of it aswell. main feature is it looks awesome and is clear.
