I feel deja vu, all over again.
It seems to me that you've have been searching for that elusive 23"+ Ephgrave for along time now, Aidy40, judging from your posts on here and ctc over the last couple of years. pj's Rotrax would have fit you, by the sounds of things. Why does it have to be an Ephgrave (or Hurlow or Carpenter), if you don't mind me asking? Do you have a particular connection to a frame builder and want one of their frames?
I don't mean to be cheeky, it's a genuine question. I know Ephgrave is one of the 'classics', but I'm just wondering why you don't buy a path frame that fits, whoever the maker (provided it's one of some repute), or an old track frame and have drillings/eyes added.
Best of luck in your hunt,

If you have eve seen the lugwork on an Ephgrave you will realise why I want one in my collection.

Nope. Not up close. Fair enough. Were Carpenter and Hurlow frames made by the same builder or just similarly great?
Hi, looking to exchange my Ephgrave no.1 lugged path frame, 22.5" c-c, seat tube in a1 condition, built circa 1962, renovated by Argos late 80's. Basically, its too small and would like to find a similar but larger Ephgrave path frame, approx 23.5" c-c I would consider other London built path frames of similar interest such as Hurlow. If you have somehthing genuine to offer please email me for further info: A.J.Searle@bristol.ac.uk
