For Sale: Kinda OT Really nice BMX stuff/full bike split... have a look.

I built this bike from some used and some new parts before the summer; some parts were added through the summer and barely used at all. I have a 3 year old daughter and with my current job very little spare time, or the option of letting myself get injured so it’s sitting in a cupboard pissing me off because I never get out to ride it.
It kills me to sell it after the amount of time I spent setting it all up totally dialled and I’m in no rush but... well shit happens and it doesn’t make sense to keep it and not use it.
Prices don’t include postage, though you can collect from Glasgow. I have a few people to use as refs if you ain’t sure about dealing with me, I haven’t been active on the forum for a few months.
The pics are of the bike complete as it is, I’ll strip as things are sold. More detailed pics will be available tomorrow.

Superstar Light My Fire **frame **08 prototype, physically good condition, no dents and certainly no cracks. Paint is ok - sky blue, if you were fussy you could respray it but I wouldn't bother. Has a 19mm Spanish BB with a few mods to take Mid cups so the BB shell edges are completely covered and look neater. Mid cups are White. Can be included with the frame through negotiation. Also has white linear cable cut to be routed through the seat-tube. - £80

Macneil ID forks, 10mm dropouts, have a few scratches and scrapes but are in good condition, with original preload cap. £30

BSD Too Loose **Bars **– 8.25 x 28 IIRC Awesome bars, literally fitted and used for a few hours. Really comfy. Probably don’t have a mark on them, though there may be scratches under the grips from putting something under there to get them off. Uncut Black. £40

ODI longneck **grips **– barely used, black - £5

Demolition Medial crankset, white, 175, 19mm axle, again barely used. I lightly rubbed away a bit of one of the demolition transfers with fine abrasive paper to see if it would rub off and couldn’t be bothered finishing. Will have a few minor scratches but nothing noticeable. Can supply Mid bearings with a USA BB frame reducer cups. £55

28t DK Alpha **sprocket **– Good condition, little use. Has been stripped on the face and rubbed back to silver with black edges and back. Looks pretty neat, job was done patiently and properly. £12

Demolition Vulcan **Brake **– White, had very little use, pads are barely worn at all. Has a few scratches and scrapes from playing round with spokemods and fitting/removal. Think I still have the box etc. £22.50

Odyssey M2 lever- medium, black, not damaged but the lever it mostly silver as I rubbed it down after it was scratched. It’s the one that can take the dual cable housing in the end but has a converted to use a standard single cable fitted. £8

Mankind Integrated **headset **– White cap, bearings mint, as per before, hardly used. £12.50

Superstar female 3/8 micro-peg will fit female hubs like vandero 2 etc. Unused and in its original packet. £4.50

Gusset Slim Jim sealed cartridge pedals- black, minor cosmetic marks, barely used though so pretty mint aside from the light wear to the paint. £20

Fly Potencia 2 **stem **– White, most recent model, excellent condition, pretty much unmarked. Grip is solid as fuck and very light. £32.50

Macneil 08 SL pivotal saddle- Black, no tears, slight mark on the top which isn’t really noticeable. £13

Federal Stump Pivotal **post **– White, cut down to about 3” I’d guess though I can check. Good condition though will have marks from being inserted. £10

Profile Ti 9t **driver **for Odyssey cassette hubs, good condition, hasn’t been used much. I’m pretty sure this one has 3 bearings inside to make up for the smaller size of bearings so will be very reliable. £40

Fit FAF Kevlar **tyres **
2.35 front – Very good condition hardly any wear. £17
2.10 rear a fair bit more wear, still happily usable but probably has about 20% of its life left. £8

**Wheels **– Light but strong...

**Front **– Red Anodised Odyssey Vandero 2 32h 3 cross with standard bolts or allen key bolts with matching red anodised drilled alloy washers. Red plain gauge spokes, Alienation Aero rim. Should be true as the rim was only just built onto the wheel before I stopped using the bike, will check it and true if needed before sending. Hub bearings are past their best but can be replaced easily and cheaply. Still spin fine, just not super smooth.

**Rear **- SPECIAL! – Red Anodised Odyssey Mk2 Cassette hub with 10T driver 36h 4cross. Ody Hazard lite rim. The axle has been properly converted to a female thread to professional standard with Ti Bolts. Axle ends turned down to have 4mm protruding to support the hub in the frame and bored out then tapped to M10 standard thread. Saves about 100g over standard and I did a stress analysis simulation using Ansys and it’s not going to be notably weaker than standard.
Provided with Titanium bolts which were supplied by a motorcycle racing prep specialist so they are the best quality with rolled threads, and have red anodised conical washers to match the front. Also have spare cap head or hex head longer bolts you can use if running the wheel with pegs as the ti bolts are a bit shorter and best suited to pegless.
Rim has been masked and had the centre face sprayed white to match the front wheel but the chrome sidewalls have been kept for good braking. Red spokes as front wheel, will probably have a few scrapes etc but nothing major. This wheel is one of a kind and really light!
