Before getting bogged down with the headbadge I'd personally sort out some foot retention and a better chainset, those Maxy(?) ones kinda cheapen an otherwise lovely looking bike. Also I agree with whoever suggested black Brooks tape, would look great.

Forgot to mention that I've since added toe clips (I was awaiting straps at the time). As for the chainset, any suggestions?
