Ahh man, I was running a wedding for the past two days. I somehow expected to be able to get up and go, but instead im up at 12pm with incredible shoulder soreness from carrying stuff.

Thanks to everyone who came out, It was a grand experience.

Anyone thinking of doing this again? Did it on foot last year and figure it will be easier on a bike this year.

7am is fine, going on last years ride.
Might not be able to make it as im at a festival all weekend (in brum tho), but am open to offers of amphetamines and blood doping. -

its a shame that the city don't let you enter it as a ride like they do up in wolverhampton for the half marathon there.
you weren't there... i uhmed and aaahed and managed to meet up at cannon hill park. excellent little ride around the ugly and pretty parts of suburban birmingham. a few moans and shouts from the marshalls but nobody actually gave chase... the council should have organised a time-trial before the joggers got up. time trialists love early mornings.
