• If the clamp has been over-tightened it should be possible to gently coax it back to something like original spec with a large flat-bladed screwdriver or similar implement. If the over-tightening has resulted in it no longer being perfectly round (a lot depends on the lug construction here) then as 31t®um suggests, doing the above then reaming to bring back to spec should be possible. After that it's a case of either 27 or 27.2mm depending on what will fit. I'm happy to help with both tasks if required, I have a selection of reamers for this very purpose.
