I've used NS components for a while and always found them to work unbelievably well. They're just really well designed/made products.
As for how they compare to DMR, I've got a 1997 DMR Trailstar which I intend on replacing with a 2009 NS Suburban next month. Firstly because I want to be able to run a disk rather than the XTR V Brake that I have at the moment. Secondly because the rear end is so short it manuals like a BMX. The lower toptube will be weird to get used to for polo but that's probably not a discipline you're intending on getting one for.
