My uncle is one of those part time police officers, not the hobby bobbies but just does it couple of days a week. He was telling me that in London there's been an increase in accidents in junctions due to cyclists. Well I say due to cyclists, that's what drivers are saying. Basically some drivers who are going through a green light, see a cyclist not necessarily going through a red light, but just pulling to the front of the queue of traffic at a red light, and they think that the cyclist is going to pull out into moving traffic so they brake, resulting in an accident. Or so drivers are saying. Not sure how common this is actually becoming but I thought I'd mention it for an example of ridiculousness.
