I see pashleys in the shop every day, mostly because the gears have slipped, of they have a rear puncture and everything is hub mounted, or (in the case of Timmy's sis's bike) the axle keeps slipping no matter how tight you make it, and because everything is axle mounted you can't put a chain tensioner on it.
Pashleys aren't an awful bike, it's just that for the money you could get something that was a bit lighter (And i know the alu lover in you likes that) and a bit more practicle.
