Clapham High Street overland station. Victoria or London Bridge.

Depending where you are coming from, Clapham Junction isn't much of a ride.

if you can wind your way to Waterloo Bridge/Road, then you're sorted. Pretty much one, slightly curvy road from there. Go round the roundabout, on a bit, right onto Bayliss Road, left onto Kennington Road, follow that until it opens up onto a Kennington Park Road/Clapham Road. Turn right and cycle straight... past Oval, Stockwell and then... Clapham North. Avoid HGVs.
But then, winding your way to Waterloo might be the problem....

buy a map £5.

my plan is to cycle south till i reach the river - follow it round south west until i'm directly north of clapham common then cross the river (i google mapped what the bridge looks like) and just head south until i reach the park. should work.

but if you're going to be at waterloo anyway, i'd be tempted to just get the train, saves pissing about for the sake of £2

By the time you get to Waterloo, get a ticket, wait for a train, travel to Clapham Junction, then ride back up to Clapham North, it will take you longer than just riding down there in the first place.
As others have said, by an A-Z and just ride it. it will take 25 mins, max.

You could get a route from www.cyclestreets.net - it's pretty good if you don't like the look of the A-Z :)
