Most mobiles will survive water penetration. Once you get it home, take it apart as much as you can, i.e. back cover off, battery out, then get it in a warm place (airing cupboard is ideal) and leave it to dry out for a few days. It should work fine after that.

this is the same guy that says wool is better than breathable water resistant fabrics, and that my being concerned about the waterproofness of gloves is overkill.
