  • i had a look at superteds the other day, they look pretty strong.
    good for chunky tyres too. i think he had 32's on them.

    it's not the same wheelsets, I think, he's running velocity.

  • ted said they were good, but then he changed wheelsets to halo rims as he actually said that his 32's kept popping off the rim. i haven't been back in ages though so he could have changed back.

  • im undecided as whether to buy some custom built Halo aerorage rims with halo hubs for £170 or a set of charge dish wheels...? anyone had any experience with either?

    Halo Aerorage rims X 2 £50
    On one hubs X 2 £30
    DT db Spokes £20
    Wheel truing £10

    Build emm up yourself it will actually be fun, and you'll learn a lot, then take them to your lbs for truing. Job done for £120

    i was told that the parts and all the labour costs were around £250 but they could do it for £170 as they have been in the shop for ages and i know someone who works there, i know very little about bike wheels! so i thought i would ask you guys to see if im being had...
